You can book guided tours in advance. We offer tours in German and a number of foreign languages, and our trained staff will be happy to put together a tour tailored to your group's special requirements and interests. They can enhance your visit to the museum by pointing out things of special interest, answering your questions, providing background information and explaining relationships that may not be readily apparent.

This tour deals with the history of the Dornier company. It begins with Claude Dornier´s start as test engineer at the Zeppelin company in 1910 and ends with the sale of the company to Daimler-Benz in 1985. The visitor gets impressions of the different parts of the exhibition and impulses for his further visit.

This guided tour deals with the ambivalent role of Claude Dornier and the Dornier company between 1933 and 1945. State control, armament and technical development are part of the tour as well as the employees of Dornier company. The Director’s Tour
Once in a month visitors can experience the Dornier Museum from a special point of view: Berthold Porath, director of the Dornier Museum, shows interested visitors round the exhibition. He refers to his work, tells background-stories and informs about museum news.
The Do X restaurant opens till 22 p.m. this day and offers meals and drinks to the guests.
This public tour takes place one Thursday each month from May till October from 6-7 p.m. Only the regular entrance fee is to pay. Registration is required.

There are several hidden treasures to explore in the archive of the Dornier Museum. Ingo Weidig, archivist of the Dornier Museum, grants you a look behind the scenes and provides an insight into the museological tasks of collecting, conservation and documentation. Wait and see!
