Arriving by car

You can plan your route using Google Maps. Once you’re in Friedrichshafen, just follow the signs for the airport (Flughafen). There is plenty of parking available right outside the museum.

Arriving by train

The Dornier Museum is conveniently located near the station Friedrichshafen Airport. You can plan your trip and book tickets at www.bahn.com and www.bob-fn.de. The Bodensee-Oberschwaben-Verkehrsverbund – bodo for short – offers lower fares.

The Baden-Württemberg Ticket - Travel anywhere in the state
The Baden-Württemberg Ticket is available for individuals and for groups of up to four people and costs €21 for one person, plus €4 for each additional person. It is valid for one day and can be used for an unlimited number of trips in the second class section of commuter trains and on city railways, trams and busses in all public transport networks within the state of Baden-Württemberg.

Arriving by bus

You can reach the DORNIER Museum from the town centre of Friedrichshafen by taking the No. 8 bus, theNo. 7586 (Montfort line between Friedrichshafen and Tettnang) or the No. 7394 (express bus). Residents of Constance can take advantage of a discounted combination ticket.

Arriving by ferry (from Constance)

The new catamaran service runs between Constance and Friedrichshafen once an hour from 6:02 /8:02 a.m. to 7:02 p.m. (Mon-Fri/Sat) and from 9:02 a.m. to 6:02 p.m. (on Sundays and holidays).The crossing takes about 50 minutes. The Bodensee-Oberschwaben-Bahn provides direct train connections from the port to Friedrichshafen Airport.

Arriving by ferry (from Switzerland)

Ferries leave from Romanshorn every hour and take about 40 minutes to reach Friedrichshafen. For the ferry schedule, please see www.bsb-online.com. The Bodensee-Oberschwaben-Bahn provides direct train connections from the port to Friedrichshafen Airport.
